A community mobilization initiative for planting, reforestation and regeneration of vulnerable areas affected by soil degradation and desertification in Oltenia.
Climate change, deforestation and insufficient environmental protection measures have contributed to the expansion of desertification in southern Romania, especially in Oltenia. Large areas are affected by soil degradation, prolonged drought and loss of vegetation, with visible consequences for local communities and agriculture.
Through this project, People Conect Concept aims to raise funds and involve the community in tree-planting and reforestation actions in vulnerable areas of Oltenia. The initiative contributes to environmental protection, reduction of climate-change effects and restoration of natural balance.
The campaign seeks support from citizens, companies, farmers, public institutions and organizations interested in environmental protection. Funds will be used for seedlings, land preparation, planting activities and maintenance of newly planted areas during the first years of development.
The project promotes a simple idea: every person can help protect the environment by planting a tree. Each planted tree is an investment in the future of the community and the natural environment.
